SBA/PPP Loan Program
The Small Business Administration (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), part of the recently passed Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, has allocated $670 billion for American small businesses impacted by the Coronavirus. As of May 5, 2020, Marine Bank had processed approximately 624 PPP loan applications totaling more than $56.5 million. Based on information provided by the applicants, this will fund payroll for more than 6,000 employees in the community for the next 2 months!
