Meet Dee Lenderman

Divine Inspiration

When accounting major Dee Lenderman graduated from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee, he chose a career in banking over one in accounting.  His inspiration?  His high school Sunday school teacher, a well-respected banker in Dan’s hometown.

Dee would eventually work for his former Sunday school teacher at a community bank in Collierville, Tennessee.  During his 25-year banking career, he has worked in a variety of roles including accounting clerk, asset-based lending field examiner, lease operations manager, commercial loan officer, chief credit officer, and credit analyst.

After years of hearing colleagues in Tennessee say they would retire and move to Florida only to never do it, Dee decided to go for it – only in a different order.  He would move to Florida and retire in a few years.  We’re glad he is here.

In May 2021, he joined Marine Bank as a credit analyst.  “By supporting our loan officers with quick turnarounds on their loan requests, I play a role in helping turn a client’s dream – whether it’s for an expanding business or for a dream home – into a reality.”

Dee has two adult sons back in Tennessee and enjoys boating with friends, listening to live 80s/90s or country music, and watching the Memphis Tigers play.
