Making Connections and Creating Joy

Working at local country clubs and a quick service restaurant led Indian River County native Anna Hodges to discover that connecting with guests and making a positive impact on their experience brought her joy. However, the feeling was often short-lived, so she sought an opportunity to make a longer lasting impact on people.

She was drawn to banking as a way to help people find an effective solution to meet their long-term goals. Anna joined Marine Bank in August of 2024 as a personal banker in our Vero US 1 banking center. Despite not having previous banking experience, her exceptional communication skills and genuine interest in helping people made her a perfect fit for the role.  Plus, her experience as a team leader at Chick-fil-A enables her to listen and understand what people need and help them succeed regardless of their personal experiences or learning style.

“Although I’ve lived here my entire life, Marine Bank’s focus on the success of local residents and businesses gives me an even deeper connection to my community.  I’ve connected with so many local businesses and individuals. I love that clients and coworkers feel more like family than anything else.”

The youngest of six siblings, Anna loves spending time with her family and because she’s a Florida native, she loves the sun on her face. Curious about new cultures, she travels whenever possible and has visited a few countries including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Haiti, South Korea, and India. Outside of helping Marine Bank clients, she also helps brides and grooms as a wedding coordinator. So when asked if she wants to help people, she always answers, “I do!”
