Meet Kevin Barker
It's a Family Affair
Vero Beach native and third generation Floridian, Kevin has banking in his genes. His mother worked for Harbor Federal for 25 years, which inspired him to pursue a career in banking. “I appreciated that she was able to help people every day. Plus, I was a better fit for banking than a Calvin Klein model or Navy Seal.”
He may joke, but when it comes to improving lives through banking, he’s serious. After graduation from the University of Central Florida, Kevin joined First Bank of Florida/Republic Security Bank as a teller/customer service representative – a perfect fit for his eagerness to assist others.
In 2000, he joined Marine Bank and is now a deposit operations specialist – giving him the unique perspective of customer service and support. “I may not be in a customer contact position, but by supporting the bankers who are, I am helping to provide an exceptional client experience. Marine Bank has a sterling reputation in the community, and I take pride in playing a role in that. At Marie Bank, we are very much a family – not just among our staff, but with our clients as well.”
When he’s not at the Bank, Kevin enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and fishing.
