Meet Mark W. DeSclafani
Helping Others Never Gets Old
Mark began his banking career more than 30 years ago as a part-time drive through teller in the Northeast. He would eventually become head of the bank’s IRA department before leaving New Jersey and moving to Florida in 2019.
“After I moved, I decided to return to a banking center and work directly with clients. I find it incredibly exciting to meet new people, listen to their stories, and provide solutions that meet their financial needs. It’s rewarding and fulfilling, plus, every day is unique with its own challenges and successes. My goal is for everyone to walk out our door with a smile on their face.”
Mark joined Marine Bank as assistant bank manager for the Vero Beachside location. When he’s not helping clients, Mark helps his peers advance their careers by sharing his in-depth knowledge of daily branch operations and client service. “Clients want to be heard. My best advice is to listen.”
When Mark is not at the Bank, you can find him with friends at the beach or relaxing at home with his family. He enjoys traveling, especially cruises. He also volunteers his free time at the Treasure Coast Food Bank and The Humane Society of St. Lucie County.
